New Years

Hooray!!! Its almost time for New Years. Every year before New Years, most of teenagers and some younger kids head outside to celebrate it. Most of the time these pre-teenagers would light up fire-crackers and fire-works. There are a couple of activities that happen too. Some play football, some play not-it, and some times they will stay all night long and see who stays up the latest. One thing I like doing best when I'm staying up all night, is playing football, and drinking pop.

Living a Good Life

The purpose of living a good life is when enjoy things that entertain you. Living a good life means that you like what your doing. This quote, " Time is a kind friend, he makes us old." is written by Sara Teasdale. The meaning of this quote is that our lives will bring new growth in the form of spring flowers and grassy meadows and time makes sure that we get our chance to create life. Living a good might be easy as it looks but harder than you thought. If you want to live a good life, I suggest that you stay out of bad things and keep up the good work.

Thanksgiving or Giving Thanks? (which do you prefer?)

Thanksgiving is a holiday where people from different families reunite. Thanksgiving to me is when relatives go to their relatives and eat food. Im not sure how long this holiday started. I like this holiday because you can eat however much turkey and pie you can eat during the day. Last year however, I ate too much of ever thing like pie, turkey, potato salad, fruit salad, and juice. During that evening, I got sick from eating too much I regretted for what I ate. From that day on, I never did eat more than three plates full of many yummy stuff.. Oookie Dookie, I hope you people have a great Thanksgiving or Giving Thanks Oh, I have one more thing to say. I am very thankful for my parents because they both took care of me and supported my. Maybe Im gonna stop here.

Caribou Hunting

Hooray! Its almost time for Caribou hunting. Most of every year we go caribou hunting for food and for families to feed. During this time of the year we go pass the Kuskokwim River to bag some caribou. I think caught my first caribou when I was about 11 or 12 years old around Eek Lake. This year I hope we go caribou hunting around the Kuskokwim area.

FF or Slow MO?

Im not sure. Maybe I would choose FF because life is just going too slow for me. Doing the same thing every day. Like Eating, Sleeping, and Working. It's like the same routine that is gonna go on for a long time.

Halloween

Halloween was goin great. Scaring people during the carnival was fun. I didn't want to miss out on it because it was the best part of the month. The carnival is traditional to the community.

Subsistence Hunting

Subsistence hunting is our only way of surviving in some villages. Most of the teenagers go out to the wilderness to go hunting little game like: rabbit, ptarmigan, beavers, canadian geese, water foul, and the most wanted, the moose. Every year, most of the teenagers go outdoors for a reason, to catch game.
